For the movement on a deep snow surface and wetlands, there were designed a new generation of tracks with a flexible edge technology called Soft Edge. This technology allows to bend around the obstacles with a flexible edge of a track without losses of pressure on the ground contact area and allows to easily overcome obstacles on a challenging terrain.
The tests of a 600 mm track have shown that, despite the increased rolling resistance, the vehicle has absolutely no losses in speed and maneuverability. Turning is carried out with ease, and the 150-hp turbodiesel engine provides the same top speed as at a narrow caterpillar. And of course, it is impossible not mention the overall improve of comfort – now travelling in a vehicle became even more soft and smooth.
